Holton

The City of Holton is located in Northeast Kansas, just 28 miles north of Topeka, the state’s capital. U.S. Highway 75 allows four lane access from Topeka to Holton.  Holton is the county seat of Jackson County with the courthouse serving as the center of the downtown square business district.  Our downtown features old, Victorian style buildings which house a diverse range of service and retail businesses. 

Today, Holton is a classic mid western community boasting turn-of-the-century homes with large porches and hand-carved trim.
